ICW eHealth Framework Developer Conference Autumn 2007
October 16th, 9:00 - 18:00 CET in Walldorf, Germany
The ICW eHealth Framework (eHF) is a powerful Java application platform for building healthcare solutions. It consists of reusable software components and development tools defining a full software development and product lifecycle as well as architectural guidelines and conventions.
The ICW eHealth Framework Developer Conference is the premier event to learn everything you need to know about the eHealth Framework:
- Join the architects for exciting tracks on the key features and capabilities offered by the framework.
- Meet the developers to learn how the framework components can simplify your work by providing reusable infrastructure modules.
- Chat with the product managers to learn what functional requirements the ICW eHealth Framework satisfies today - and tomorrow.
The main theme of the Autumn 2007 conference is: “Using the power of the eHF.” It targets both developers and architects new to the eHF as well as those experienced with developing applications on top of the framework.
In four main tracks high profile speakers share their technical knowledge and experience with the audience:
- Newbie Track: This is the place to start when the ICW eHealth Framework is new to you. The key concepts and the essential modules are explained in this track.
- Users Track: This track is recommended for users who already have experience using the ICW eHealth Framework. It focuses on new developments since the first eHF Conference in May 2007 and other concepts which were not part of this previous event.
- Geek Track: Software specialists and architects offer several breakout sessions showing the ICW eHealth Framework in action. Advanced topics such as, security, MDSD, health record and document modules willbe presented. These sessions are the perfect place to meet developers with the same interests and to benefit from shared experience.
- Partner Track: several of our internal customers report on how they are using the ICW eHealth Framework and what benefits they derive from leveraging the modules.
The eHealth Framework Developer Conference – Autumn 2007 also features a special focus theme: the ICW Software Development Kit (SDK). The development kit is a specialized tool to integrate other applications with applications based on the eHealth Framework. It provides bindings for various languages such as Java, C/C++ or C# for the services exposed by the framework. Several presentations in different tracks provide both examples of how the SDK is used by developers today as well as all the details and hands on information required to use the SDK to connect your application to eHF-based applications such as, for example, ICW LifeSensor.
